Las Lobas is a curated line of jewelry made by Stephanie Raborn in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Stephanie was raised in south Georgia and moved to Atlanta for college. While working at a clothing and jewelry boutique in the Virginia Highlands, she began to create personalized charm necklaces for the store. A couple of years later she participated in a local craft show, where a large retailer admired her work enough to place an order for an exclusive line. From there Las Lobas was born. Las Lobas is now designed in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where Stephanie earned her law degree.
Las Lobas stands for "the she wolves" in Spanish. The name was inspired by Women Who Run With the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Recommended by one of Stephanie's dear friends, the book describes "the powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing" inside every woman. In the same way, Las Lobas is for women, by women, and in wearing this jewelry you represent a piece of the feminine wild. Go ahead, howl at the moon.
