Hey Friends

Erie, PABrand · Clothing

Welcome to this little dream of mine! Hi, I’m Shaefer—the founder behind Hey Friends. I started this brand at 16 as a small weekend project, hand-printing pieces from home. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into something much bigger, with orders coming in from across the country—and even internationally—within the first few months. Balancing school and building a business, I spent my days in class and my nights printing, packing, and dreaming about what Hey Friends could become. Everything changed when I was invited to appear on The Drew Barrymore Show, a moment that gave me the confidence to fully pursue this path. After graduating high school, I made the decision to go all in. Since then, Hey Friends has grown into a full collection of thoughtfully designed clothing. What started as hand-printed pieces has evolved into working with trusted manufacturing partners to bring my designs to life with greater scale, quality, and intention—while still staying true to the heart of how it all began. Today, Hey Friends has been carried in over 250 stores across the U.S. and continues to grow every season. Each piece is designed with a timeless, coastal-inspired feel—meant to help you feel feminine, confident, and effortlessly put together. This brand has always been about more than clothing. It’s about taking a chance on yourself, creating something meaningful, and building a life you love. Thank you for being here and supporting this dream—it truly means everything. Xo,
