Brand · Retailer · Gift shop

is a creative company + candle brand that celebrates culture, color, and good design. Fresa is a small, woman-owned business that celebrates: Culture + community + embracing your heritage Empowering people to be unapologetically themselves Thoughtful storytelling through design + imagery With every candle, I hope to bring you joy - a gift from me to you, a moment of peace for everyone, anyone, that needs a little bit of light in their lives. Fresa: An Origin Story Fresa was named as a reclamation of the Mexican slang used to negatively describe a stuck up girl, one that is spoiled and never satisfied. A nickname my parents gave me, one my Mom still uses, made popular in the 90s with the song Niña Fresa that I loved as a toddler (still do tbh). As a brand + business + literal representation of me and my values, Fresa will always stand for women and fight for the oppressed, for those whose lights have been dimmed and those that are unable to fight for themselves.
