Meet Melissa, the designer and girl-boss behind Blissfully Liss Jewelry. Inspired by the ocean and effortless bohemian style, she creates handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces featuring unique charms, freshwater pearls, semi-precious gemstones and customizable details for girls & women of all ages.
A little note from Melissa:
It all started in 2008 when my grandmother taught me how to make necklaces and bracelets while visiting her in Florida. I instantly fell in love with the creativity outlet that jewelry-making gave me. I was always so into fashion growing up; I even wanted to become a fashion designer when I was younger! But now my dreams have shifted and I have become a jewelry designer!
Growing up on a small beach town in Ocean City, New Jersey, I started my small jewelry brand. I sold my creations to friends & family and local venues starting in 2010. But I knew I wanted to expand to a wider audience. I created an Etsy shop in 2012 followed by my own website from scratch in 2016. I've built up my own Instagram aesthetic over the years and have participated in hundreds of pop up events including private parties. In recent years, I started offering a Charm Bar customization experience where customers & guests can choose components for me to create their own unique & meaningful jewelry.
I'm so thankful I am able to have a creative and fun career! So much hard-work and hours behind the scenes to curate Blissfully Liss with what it is today. I am always evolving and striving to make my business stand out from other jewelry brands. I love connecting with my customers and seeing you all wear your Bliss in real life - it truly means the world to me. Thank you again to all my supporters over the years, I couldn't have done this without you!
xoxo,
Liss
