Young + Wild and Friedman

Houston, TXBrand · Kids and baby

Hi, I’m Julie - the Play Dough Lady! Young, Wild & Friedman started as a total “wait… I started a business?” moment. Back in 2017, one of my kids was diagnosed with several speech disorders, and her doctor suggested sensory play. So I did what any mom would do, I made a play dough kit in my kitchen. Evie loved it, her friends loved it… and somehow that little moment turned into this. Nine years later, I’m still amazed. What began on my kitchen counter, with a tiny Kitchen Aid mixer has grown into a brand loved by families all over the country! It’s been wild in the best way, and I wouldn’t change a thing. Today, YWF is powered by an incredible team (45+ amazing women and a few great guys!) who care deeply about creativity, community, and of course, play! Watching kids, including my own, come back to our kits again and again is the magic behind everything we do. Thanks for being here. xoxo, Julie
