Wolf Ceramics is a small team of potters, artists, dancers, gardeners, dessert-first-eaters, occasional dinner burners, and human beings. We like to work, play and rest intentionally — we hope our ceramics are an invitation for you to do the same. Our Story Wolf Ceramics was founded in 2016 by Sarah Wolf. Born in Oregon, Sarah followed a winding path through geochemistry, farming, outdoor education and guiding, and considering architecture school before landing back on her most addictive and inspired hobby: ceramics. After a year and a half of graduate studies at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, Sarah began producing work out of her NW Portland pottery studio, steadily building a mug club and connecting with local chefs and restaurants. Soon her mugs, plates, bowls and home wares were finding permanent homes around the country. In 2019, Wolf Ceramics moved their studio to the nearby town of Hood River nestled in the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area at the base of Mt. Hood.
