Esmé Shapiro is an illustrator and author of books for children.
Her favorite place to paint is in her studio at her farm house in the Catskills, where she surrounds herself with many animals and flowers.
Esmé’s books are filled with creatures both real and imaginary, and her style has a tenderness that lets young readers easily connect and join her on adventures.
Esmé started The Esme Shop in 2020 with her Mother, Judy Dryland.
