Sugar Bob's Finest Kind

Your Town, YTBrand · Food and drink

Sugar Bob’s Finest Kind started with Rob ‘Sugar Bob’ Hausslein, a handmade sugarhouse, and a question: what else could maple syrup do? Rob has been sugaring in the Vermont woods for over 40 years Working alongside friends, neighbors, and the same crew of producers he still works with today. Those long days at the boil sparked something special, built on experimentation, collaboration, and a deep respect for the trees, the fire, and the people behind the process. We still make our smoked maple syrup the same way: With real hardwood smoke, clean ingredients, and a whole lot of intention. Today, it’s more than just syrup. It’s smoked hot sauces, barbecue blends, spiced nuts, and pantry staples designed for people who love food—and love discovering new ways to enjoy it. Everything we make starts here in Vermont, shaped by our landscape, our community, and our curiosity. Whether you're visiting our shop or taking a bottle home, our goal is the same: Help you make something delicious, and maybe learn something along the way.
