The Stroopclub Stroopwafels & Syrups

Brand · Retailer · Specialty food shop

Two Dutchies. One suitcase. One stroopwafel iron. No connections or job and no roadmap. This is how a beloved Dutch tradition became a small business with a big commitment. We moved, we shared, we committed . In 2015 we arrived in the United States with no network and a machine that could bake the one thing that always made people smile: stroopwafels. Sharing them became our way to connect with strangers, make friends and bridge cultures. What started as a taste of home slowly became Stroop Club, built around the belief that sharing our food is one of the fastest ways to belong somewhere new. One jumps in head-first. The other says wait-a-minute. Together they're as good a combo as wafels and stroop. Meet Chantal and Tako.
