Before founding Storytime Toys, Kara Dyer earned two Mechanical Engineering degrees from MIT and spent years designing missile guidance systems and military airplane cockpit displays. "Mechanical Engineering gave me technical discipline, but watching my young children and their preschool classmates play, showed me where that discipline mattered most. Toys are tools for one of the most critical periods in human development.
