Strike Gently

Van Nuys, CABrand · Accessories

In 2015, determined to quit my job, I spent the last $500 I had on 100 custom pins of an all-black owl design. If I could find 100 people to buy them, I could recoup my costs and do two new releases. I used a lot of matches at the time so I stuck the pins in empty matchbooks as packaging — and ended up selling them all. My friend Louis suggested we call the company Strike Gently. Since that first weird owl pin, we’ve released 1000+ products, and built a community of millions of followers and customers. We do everything in-house, from design to customer service.
