Sparko Sweets

Pomona, CABrand · Food and drink

Sparko started with a candy factory. Jerry's father spent years mass-producing Twinkle Pops, the shaped lollipops Sparko still makes today. Growing up around that factory taught Jerry something most candy companies miss: people don't just eat candy. They react to it. After UCLA and a couple of startups that taught him more than they earned, Jerry went back to those Twinkle Pops with one question. Why did people love them? It wasn't only the flavor. They looked as good as they tasted, which is why they kept showing up at parties, weddings, and launches. They did something a chocolate bar never could. They set the mood. So in 2014 Jerry started Sparko Sweets to build on that idea on purpose. Lollipops made for the moment they arrive in. Galaxies, roses, logos, whatever the occasion calls for, designed to look incredible and taste like it too. Doing that well meant building two things: a just-in-time production facility in Los Angeles, where every order is made-to-order, and a creative brand with the range to turn any occasion into a moment worth noticing. The operation and the artistry are built to work together. Jerry started Sparko when he and Melody were dating. They're married now, and they run it together. The lineup has grown well beyond where it began, but the goal hasn't changed since the factory floor: make the best looking, best tasting lollipops in the room, for the moments worth remembering.
