Our founders, David - a true engineer at heart, and his wife Marlee - an innovative corporate exec, openly admit to being devoted iced coffee addicts. Their daily routines revolved around a pilgrimage to their local Dunkin for their beloved concoctions - "Large iced, extra ice and 6 milks. And large iced, extra ice, black… and lots of napkins, please!" The inevitable sight of soggy napkins clinging to cups, puddles forming in their car cup holders, drips on shirts, and unsightly desk rings became all too familiar. One day, reaching the breaking point, they realized that there had to be a better solution: an iced coffee “koozie” like they used for cans. Like any good corporate exec, Marlee looked at her husband and said “Go make this!” And thus, the first JavaSok iced coffee sleeve was born!
