Seek & Swoon

For each of us, there’s a place that resonates with the feeling of "home," a place where we think, "I belong here." This special place might be an ocean away or right in our own living room in a cozy, overstuffed chair. Seek & Swoon was born in this magical space—between wanderlust and a welcoming bungalow.
Our collection of knit throw blankets at Seek & Swoon is inspired by a passion for design, home goods, and a memorable two-month European sabbatical taken by our owner, Jala Smith-Huys, along with her husband and two young sons during the summer of 2015. Upon returning home, Jala was driven to start a business that would encapsulate her travel memories through high-quality products that everyone could enjoy and take pride in owning. Thus, Seek & Swoon came to life. Many of our designs draw inspiration from places we’ve visited, dream about, and called home.
We draw inspiration from the beauty of the world and the importance of taking care of it, exploring it, and contributing to its beauty. Our commitment to these principles is reflected in our products: each knit throw blanket is made in the USA from recycled yarn. We have partnered with a second-generation, family-owned knitting mill that shares our dedication to comfort, quality, and design.
When you wrap yourself in one of our knit throw blankets, we hope you experience the same sense of belonging and comfort as relaxing in a Tuscan vineyard, sipping tea in Edinburgh, or savoring a moment in your own home. We also hope our blankets inspire you to dream about your next adventure.
