Savannah Kurka is an artist, educator, and the founder of Savvie Studio, a small design studio based in sunny Denton, Texas. She was inspired to start Savvie Studio in 2013 while pursuing her BFA in Visual Art Studies at the University of North Texas. Her work draws on moments of stillness, dappled sunlight, shifting shadows, and the quiet beauty of the natural world. With a focus on thoughtful, modern design, Savannah creates pieces that celebrate nature, everyday rituals, and the spaces we share with those we love.Every piece from Savvie Studio is designed, laser cut, and shipped from our Denton, Texas studio by a small team of local creatives. In a world of mass production, we find deep joy in working with our hands and hope in the community that handmade goods create.
