At Sage Valley Pottery, we believe that handmade ceramics carry meaning far beyond their function. We're a small, values-driven studio committed to creating beautiful, non-toxic pottery that supports intentional living and real human connection. Every piece we make is shaped by hand, high-fired in our gas kiln, and finished with tested glazes we formulate in-house—free from harmful toxins or heavy metals and tested with the utmost care.
Founded in Corrales, New Mexico by passionate potters and mentored by a Master Potter with decades of experience, Sage Valley is guided by a deep respect for craft, our processes, materials, and tradition. Our mission is to keep our handmade tradition alive by providing training for skilled artisans. There are no shortcuts in our studio. We work within our means using only a handful of carefully selected tools to ensure each piece reflects human quality, resilience and skill. We choose not to scale using molds or machines, and instead, we invest in passionate artists whose hands bring each vessel to life. Our small-batch process allows for customization, creative flexibility, and the subtle individuality that makes handmade pottery so meaningful—while maintaining the discipline and precision needed to create cohesive sets.
We are proud to be part of a vibrant community of local farmers, brewers, roasters, chefs, and artists.
