New York, NYBrand · Clothing

Based in New York City, Rome Pays Off is a premium fashion, lifestyle, and publishing brand that defines the category of artist-led consumer products. Every collection begins with the artist, translating significant artistic voices into thoughtfully designed objects that extend their cultural impact beyond traditional settings. By balancing the worlds of fine art and contemporary culture, Rome Pays Off creates products that are both intellectually grounded and culturally relevant—objects that challenge convention, inspire conversation, and bring art into everyday life. Rome Pays Off operates as the flagship consumer brand within The Artestar Group’s global portfolio. Through its close partnership with Artestar, a recognized leader in the management and licensing of intellectual property for leading visual artists, estates, and foundations, every collaboration is developed with exceptional creative rigor and respect for artistic intent. This unique relationship enables Rome Pays Off to create products that not only celebrate artists' work but also preserve and advance their legacies for new audiences around the world. Christina Burns, CEO, has built her career at the intersection of art, design, and publishing. After relocating to New York to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, she began her career designing private-label collections and leading product development for major art museum retail programs. She later expanded her expertise into editorial, serving as a book editor and publisher, where she developed a strong foundation in storytelling, content development, and cultural curation. At Rome Pays Off, Burns draws on this multidisciplinary background to shape the brand's strategic vision, ensuring every product reflects the highest standards of design, craftsmanship, and cultural integrity.
