Rebel Designs
Brooklyn, NYBrand
Gina Riley founded Rebel Designs with a clear vision: to transform unique, handcrafted art into a powerful statement of individuality. What began as a personal artistic endeavor in her Brooklyn studio has evolved into a celebrated fashion accessories brand known for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and authenticity.
The brand's journey began with an authentic, grassroots approach, where initial designs gained rapid market validation within New York's vibrant arts and theater communities. This early traction was a clear indicator of a powerful product-market fit. Recognizing the scalable potential, Gina strategically expanded the product line in 2002 and officially branded the company as Rebel Designs, cementing its position in the fashion accessories space.
Today, as the visionary leader of the brand, Gina, alongside her partner Tatia Apridonidze, guides a diverse team of talented artisans in Brooklyn. She spearheads the company's creative direction and business strategy, focusing on sustainable growth, brand integrity, and the core mission: creating beautifully unique men's and women's accessories that empower customers and celebrate their differences. Under her leadership, Rebel Designs continues to thrive as a symbol of handcrafted luxury and the rebellious spirit of non-conformity.
