I'm Beth, owner and creator of R.B. Amber Jewelry. I am the mother of 2 amazing kids, Eva and Will, and married to my best friend, Rob.
I am (admittedly) a serial entrepreneur. I'm not exactly sure how it all came about, but these things definitely have a way of snowballing... I started by founding "Sweetbottoms Baby Boutique" in January 2010, a natural parenting boutique focused on natural + organic products for mom, baby, and home. Our specialty was cloth diapers and, you guessed it, Baltic amber jewelry! I connected with a lovely team of mom artisans in Lithuania who make Baltic amber jewelry. Their natural Baltic amber jewelry was a staple in our store and also in my family. We closed our brick + mortar store in 2015 and switched to selling online only. One of my favorite things about our store was helping our local community by hiring other moms and making it possible for them to bring their babies to work with them. At one time, Sweetbottoms had 20 employees, nearly all of them mothers with small children! During this time, I also began manufacturing our own line of organic products (Sweetbottoms Naturals brand), including a successful lactation supplement and teething oil.
The unofficial start of R.B. Amber Jewelry came in 2011 and turned into an "official business" in 2015, offering therapeutic and intentional jewelry for both retail and wholesale. I have always enjoyed designing and creating, so expanding our jewelry line over the years to include my own creations has been exciting! Owning a business is not for the faint of heart, but God always seems to open a window and provide a way forward. I've been blessed to have a wonderful team of supporters through all the business' ups and downs. My right-hand gal, Mandi, who oversees our shipping, wholesale, customer service, (and more), has been with us since 2011! ♡♡ Our jewelry is currently made by a small team of local women (including my mother and my daughter), who lovingly handcraft each item. ♡♡
