Primrose Candle Company

Brand · Candles

Hi! I’m Kelsey, founder of Primrose. I fell in love with candle making almost instantly. At the time, I was working as a hospital social worker and turned to candle making as a way to treat burnout. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more, and I've now run Primrose full-time since 2021. In 2023, Primrose took a big step forward when my husband, Drew, joined the biz! Drew now leads our operations and efficiency, making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so we can grow thoughtfully while maintaining the quality and care we’re known for. What began as a one-woman passion project has become a true family-run business, complete with our precious baby Gemma and our crazy dog, Moose. A little more about me: I adore musicals, yoga, shiraz, and London. I love that last one so much that I named Primrose after my favorite place: Primrose Hill in North London. It’s dreamy, peaceful, and full of charm, and that’s exactly the feeling I hope to bring into your home with every hand-poured candle. Smell Good. Feel Good. Do Good.
