Plate & Pattern

When my mother-in-law first gifted me a set of wicker “basket plates” paired with bakery-style paper doilies, I was hooked. They were sturdy enough for any meal and made cleanup a breeze once the guests left. For 30 years, those plates became my go-to for everything - dinner parties, baby showers, my three daughters’ endless lacrosse and soccer dinners, birthday celebrations, and dinner in front of the TV during the Superbowl or family movie night. They’ve truly seen it all! Over the years, countless guests asked the same question: Where did you get these? That’s when I realized this is a category in need of innovation! Paper plates are convenient but flimsy, unattractive, and often not compostable. Traditional dinnerware is pretty but breakable, heavy, and, honestly, a little boring after decades of the same set. So Plate & Pattern® was born - a fresh take on entertaining. Our plates are designed to be durable, chic, and endlessly versatile. With fun, interchangeable liners, you can instantly change the look of your table to suit any mood, theme, or celebration. I love creating a table that feels special, but what I love even more is the laughter and connection that happens around it - and then how easy it is to clean up afterward! I hope Plate & Pattern brings the same joy, style, and ease to your gatherings that it has brought to mine. Molly Wendt, Founder P&P
