Having grown up in India, I am fascinated by its rich cultural heritage and traditional Indian craftsmanship. We live in a modern world overflowing with technology and fast production, but our aim is to keep these age-tested processes alive and celebrate the beauty of handmade products. At Paper Mirchi, we work closely with small family-run units in India, where the artisans are passionate about their craft which has been passed down through generations. All our products are made using 100% recycled cotton rag paper, and go through a slow and thoughtful process, from conception in our London studio to execution in the historic state of Rajasthan.
