Beauty and art co-existing with fun and practicality are the cornerstones of Modgy’s philosophy. As a small, family-owned business, Modgy produces modern products that deliver convenience and artful simplicity to homes and everyday life. Durable and reusable products that are safe for pets and children but sophisticated enough for art connoisseurs are designed in Cleveland, Ohio, where Modgy is headquartered. Our Story After more than two decades helping other companies get their products designed and manufactured, we decided it was time to start a brand of our own. We began with a question: How do we modernize every day products using unexpected materials while creating décor that brings fun and beauty to our daily lives? Beginning with the concept of expandable plastic vases, we worked on and refined the silhouette with an elegant S-curve shape, and a gusseted bottom for form and functionality. The idea was perfect – décor that pops-up easily and folds flat for space-saving convenience. From there, we invented our popular luminary lanterns and sourced the water-activated tea lights that together create a candlelit atmosphere without the worry of an open flame. To enhance our flagship products, we collaborate with many well-known museums, creating motifs from famous artworks, as well as designing our own festive and imaginative patterns. Today, Modgy products are sold throughout the world in museum gift shops, boutiques, specialty retailers, and our own website.
