Crafted slowly. Designed to last.
Handmade palm pieces shaped by tradition and refined through modern design.
Makaua is a collaboration between artisans, designers, and materials shaped by time.
Each piece carries the rhythm of the hands that made it.
A tradition, carried forward
Our work begins with techniques passed down through generations—woven, refined, and preserved over time.
We partner directly with artisan communities in Mexico, creating pieces that honor their origin while evolving through contemporary design.
We believe the most meaningful objects are those made slowly.
Objects that are not only beautiful, but useful.
Objects that carry a story.
Where tradition meets restraint
Through proportion, tone, and simplicity, we reinterpret traditional craftsmanship into forms that feel timeless and modern.
The result is a collection designed to live quietly within a space—never competing, always belonging.
Our work supports a fair and consistent income for artisans, ensuring these techniques continue to exist—not as heritage, but as a living practice.
Made by hand. Meant to stay.
