We hope our wide range of images and topics will inspire you to make someone smile today. Lumia cards are like small pieces of art, a pleasure to treasure and to share. Made in USA Thank you to each and every person who buys our cards. To all who visit us at trade-shows, to those who carry our products in your stores and to all who shop our website. Your choice to support small businesses makes our business possible. Suzanne Grace Karlson, Owner & Designer Making greeting cards has been a long time passion for me. After studying Graphic Design at Fashion Institute of Technology and graduating with a BFA from New York Institute of Technology, I entered the corporate design world. Unexpectedly, I returned to my true passion…graphic art and paper. The reawakening came in 2007 while visiting the Illuminated Manuscripts of The Renaissance exhibit at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The jewel-like colors, attention to detail and glow of gold leaf alive in those luminous miniature paintings inspired me to create Lumia Designs.
