Humble Hilo’s mission is to create maximum impact by sourcing wonderful handmade products from local artisans around the world, while giving back to local charities.
We travel the world to bring you unique goods that fit your style and taste, while partnering with vendors who value fair trade, fair wage, women empowerment, and eco-friendliness. We create jobs and strive to find other ways to support the local communities, including:
Labelling and extra sewing is done in a workshop solely employing workers with disabilities
We have established and are supporting a preschool in Katmandu, Nepal, so the women here can stay in the workforce after having children
A portion of every purchase of all cashmere products, supports children with disabilities in Nepal.
We support The Humble Village Project in the poorest villages in Guatemala.
