new arrivals, including colorful
dresses, versatile women’s

bottoms and distinctive accessories. Gretchen Scott clothing is made to be flattering, comfortable and easy to live in, with thoughtful details that make even the simplest piece feel a little more special.
“Our brand embodies a place that is chic, joyous, playful and fun,” says Gretchen Scott, founder and CEO of Gretchen Scott Designs. Our mantra says the rest:
“Laugh More, Gripe Less, Ignore Critics, Say Yes, Order Dessert, Love Life.” Those words are sewn into everything we make and are at the heart of every Gretchen Scott design.
Travel has always been one of Gretchen’s greatest sources of inspiration. A pattern on a palace wall in India, a garden in Europe, a tiled courtyard in Cartagena or an unexpected detail spotted along the way can become the starting point for a collection. The result is women’s clothing filled with vivid color, intricate prints, clean silhouettes and details worth looking at twice.
Of course, beautiful clothes still have to work in real life. Many Gretchen Scott dresses, tops and bottoms are designed to pack easily, travel well and transition effortlessly from day to night. Office to dinner. Carpool to the swimming pool. Resort to real life. Wherever you are headed, the idea is simple: look good, feel good and love life.
