Dot & Lil is, first and foremost, a family story. Behind the name are Dorothée, known as Dot, and Lilianne, her daughter. Two women, two generations brought together in one name, reflecting what is passed down, shared, and carried through time. It is around this connection between generations that Dot & Lil was born in Montreal in 2008, with the desire to create fragranced products that bring a touch of softness to everyday rituals. Soaps and bath products were among the first creations, including the bath milk, which would become one of the brand’s signature products over the years. Flowers, fragrance, and the beauty of traditions naturally became part of the Dot & Lil world. The scent of a flower that brings back a memory, a ritual we love returning to, a thoughtful gift chosen for someone special: these simple pleasures can, in their own way, become precious memories. Over the years, Dot & Lil grew. From its first creations came collections for bath, body, and home, and the brand found its place in boutiques across Canada and the United States. Today, based in Saint-Eustache, Québec, Dot & Lil is opening a new chapter in its story. Our collections continue to be imagined and created here, with the desire to preserve the essence of Dot & Lil while continuing to create, imagine, and evolve its world. Dot & Lil.
