Cupcakes and Cashmere

Inspired by her love of design, fashion, and entertaining, founder Emily Schuman created the blog cupcakes and cashmere in March 2008. As her audience grew, she parlayed her success into partnerships with brands and major retailers, which paved the way for her own branded clothing, bedding, and lighting lines. At the same time, she always imagined a dedicated site that would house all of her favorite things.
In 2017, Emily launched cupcakes and cashmere the shop, which carries a curated collection of jewelry designed by Emily and a selection of small brands that offer candles, accessories, and home goods. In 2022, Emily launched her second brand, Lavune—a line of luxury candles, hand soaps, and diffusers handpoured in Southern California. Emily’s aspirational yet attainable style has influenced millions of women over the years, who consider her word that of a trustworthy friend. We hope you love it as much as we do!
