I paint skyscapes to celebrate the majesty and mystery of the places I travel to and the neighborhoods I live in.
I start most of my paintings outside, trying to capture the way the light changes the colors of the fog and clouds moving through the neighborhood and the magic I feel.
Over the past 21 years, I’ve lived in eight San Francisco neighborhoods. Now in the Outer Richmond, I’ve been painting the views from my walks around Sutro Park, Lands End, Golden Gate Park, The Sunset, and Ocean Beach.
