Why hello there! My name is Mariah. I'm the owner + designer of Cleary Lane, my accessory business that I started started in April of 2014.
I would be lying if I said I knew that I would own my own my business one day. The truth is, years ago I had no idea where life would take me. I was working a 9-5 job that brought little joy to my life and going to college for a major I wasn't passionate about.
One day, I stumbled across a little platform you might have heard about called “Etsy”. I knew that I loved designing things, but didn’t know how to use my skills to make it a business. I ended up opening my very own shop “Cleary Lane”. I taught myself all the programs like photoshop and illustrator. I was able to quit my job after only 3 months. I was scared, but I knew that if I worked hard enough I could turn this into a great business.
Over the years I learned lettering and how to design. I have been able to truly live my dream. There were certainly bumps along the way and times where I didn’t know if I was making the right choices. However, every time I would stumble, I would immediately pick myself back up and get to work.
I’m couldn’t be happier with how the last several years have turned out and can’t wait to see what the next years hold.
Cleary Lane is my passion and being able to create beautiful products that bring smiles to my customers faces makes it so worth ever hard time.
Thank you so much for stopping by my shop!
