Cave Glow Studio is a family operation run by a small team in the Hudson Valley, NY. We work with responsibly sourced beeswax and soy wax in small batches to create thoughtful and timeless lighting products for the everyday home. We started making candles in the winter of 2016 as a way to deliver peace and healing during an uncertain time in our local and global communities. Making candles after work on the weekdays and taking them to local markets became a regular weekend routine for us, and what started in a one-bedroom apartment as a desire to authentically connect with others about design and mindfulness quickly turned into a full-fledged mission to provide light and hope to homes across the country. Our studio is always bustling with experiments in color, wax and music--providing an endless source of inspiration and creative self-development that we aim to share with others. At Cave Glow Studio, we believe that self-awareness and mindfulness can help us all contribute more vividly to our lives. The mere act of lighting a candle is a ritualistic reminder to center and ground ourselves, and with a bit of curiosity, that ritual can lead to a much richer understanding of ourselves and the world around us. With the right intention, the small act of lighting a candle can help to uncover the psychological power of personal and social change. Our studio’s mission is to hold space for curiosity, experimentation, and growth--and we hope to share with and encourage others who are out there exploring their personal journeys as well. We hope you use our products to keep calm, decompress, meditate, celebrate and illuminate your space. We are so grateful for your support. Happy Burnin’! - Emma & Jake
