Art of Sucre

Fairlawn, OHBrand · Food and drink

Art of Sucre was founded in 2016 by Emily Harpel after she spotted an opportunity to reimagine a favorite childhood treat. What began during wedding planning as a creative experiment quickly turned into a mission to give cotton candy a modern upgrade. Starting with a single cotton candy cart, Emily began spinning custom flavors at weddings, birthday parties, and sporting events all across Ohio. Originally focused on events, Art of Sucre made a pivotal shift in 2020, transitioning into packaged products and nationwide shipping. This evolution marked a defining moment for the brand, allowing its signature cotton candy flavors and viral drink glitter bombs to reach customers far beyond in-person events. Over the years, Art of Sucre grew into a powerhouse brand, building a community of over 1.6 million social media followers and selling hundreds of thousands of its iconic cotton candy glitter bombs. From viral moments to standout collaborations, Art of Sucre is known for imaginative products that turn everyday celebrations into something magical. In 2025, Art of Sucre entered a new chapter when it was acquired by Tastee Apple, positioning the brand for continued growth and expanded reach while maintaining the creativity and spirit it was built on.
