Amaries Bath Flower Shop
Brand · Body care
It has almost been a lifelong journey to create bath and body products. It began with a trip to a bookstore to rekindle creativity that had been set aside while working in accounting. As I read through the soap book, I began to see the sheer botanical variety that nature offers and how we can combine them in different ways to benefit our lives.
The soap petal flower idea came about in a different way. My mother-in-law went into the hospital, and I wanted to give her something that she could visually enjoy and then take home to use. I was making bar soaps at the time, so I made orchid bar soaps and put them on skewers and into a vase to create an arrangement. After she was back home, I asked her if she had used the soap. She said, no, if she used it once, she would mess it up. On the way home, I was wondering how she could visually enjoy the flower and use the beneficial soap too. That’s when the idea came for creating artisan soap flowers with multiple petals, which I believe was inspired by God’s grace. When pulling a petal from the outside, it leaves the remaining bloom intact to keep enjoying visually.
