"Footwear is the unique object that can change the mood, as well as the stride and posture, of the wearer. That's why focusing on the foot's anatomy, rhythm and movement, is so vital to footwear design,” says SANGMIN PARK, founder of 4CCCCEES. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in London with a master’s degree in Footwear Design, and subsequently working for renowned fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen and becoming head designer at United Nude, Korean-born Sang-Min Park decided to set up her own label in 2019. Seeking to merge comfort with a fashion-forward aesthetic, 4CCCCEES brings a new dimension to the industry, pushing the boundaries of materiality and form thanks to innovation in technology and manipulation. Sang-Min Park set up 4CCCCEES with four guiding principles: Confidence | Comfort | Contemporary | Curiosity The four C’s outline Park’s personal mission to bring something new to the footwear market and showcase the cutting-edge of design through her work. Through her curiosity, she has merged a contemporary aesthetic with comfort, empowering and bringing confidence to those who wear them.
