Perspective Is Everything Collage art and stationery that reimagine treasures from the past, bringing nostalgia, surreal twists, and a hint of absurd wonder to your walls and your world. A small shift can change the way we see something entirely, turning the ordinary into something unexpected, the familiar into something surreal. That’s what I love about collage. It’s about taking pieces of the past and rearranging them to create something new. A subtle shift, a new context, and suddenly the image takes on a whole new meaning. My process is part treasure hunt, part daydream, part puzzle. I sift through vintage photographs, illustrations, and forgotten ephemera, searching for images that resonate with me. My favorite part is when the idea arrives. When I’ve landed on a way to twist reality just enough to invite curiosity. Sometimes it’s a subtle change, sometimes it’s absurd and playful, but it always reveals a fresh perspective. At an art show once, someone described my work as “Norman Rockwell on acid”, and I just loved that. The people who connect with my art tend to be those who enjoy looking at things a little differently, who like nostalgia with a surreal bend, who appreciate the unexpected, and who want a bit of the absurd in their world. If that sounds like you, I hope my work brings a little wonder, curiosity, and maybe even a smile into your space.
