Hi, I'm Kathy Phan. Many people know me as kathyphantastic. Thanks for being interested in my work! Sometimes people are surprised that I've only spent three years working in watercolor. I have a background in creative direction, marketing, and visual merchandising. I've always been living a creative life and have spent a lot of time mentoring young creatives while working in higher education. Now I am pursuing my own creative projects. My Texas stickers and magnets are for those who are proud of being Texan. The Asian food stickers are of popular dishes and condiments and appeal to foodies, but also symbols for a community that is underrepresented in the arts. Through my art I am able to explore identity.
