Ornament Letterpress is the award-winning letterpress studio of printer and designer Miranda Hunt Borden located in Shaker Heights, Ohio. We specialize in creating letterpress notecards that are classically simple. Our cards are designed and crafted by hand on carefully restored, antique printing presses. They are printed, folded and assembled with care on recycled, cotton paper. Ornament Letterpress was named after one of my favorite books, The Grammar of Ornament, by architect and designer Owen Jones. It is a survey of patterns, motifs and ornaments from around the world and observes that all ornamentation is based on natural form and can stand as its own subject. It is also in the memory of my late mother Barbara Borland Hunt, who was an excellent writer of letters.
