At (BY) ALEISHA, we believe that art happens long before pencil touches paper. It happens when we book a new flight, set foot in a new city, or set eyes on a new face. That’s why we take the time to learn the stories, the names and the details. We explore places, sounds and cultures, and then use every tool in our carry-on to create pieces that truly capture the essence of what makes that place and that memory special to you. We believe that no two stories are the same, so we pack a wide range of skills, such as cartography, calligraphy and photography, and work in a variety of mediums in order to find the one that best tells yours. We believe that every single city–no matter how small–has a story to tell, and no two people experience the same place in the same way. So whether it’s the small coffee shop that started your epic love story, or the hole-in-the-wall apartment on that nameless street where you birthed your greatest idea, there’s no limit to the places we’ll explore with you. Because our goal isn’t just to make art. It’s to fill your walls with reminders of your most treasured memories.
