Where Story and Craft Meet Storyteller Stitchery creates hand-dyed silk and merino wool thread, yarn, and story-inspired needlepoint kits, dyed in small batches in our Arizona studio. We make for knitters, crocheters, spinners, embroiderers, and needlepoint stitchers who want their materials to feel as intentional as the story behind them. A Studio Rooted in Story Story-Inspired Yarn, Thread, and Kits Every Storyteller Stitchery collection begins with a story. Sometimes it’s a character, a place, or an adventure pulled from the pages of a beloved book. Other times, it’s the story of a landscape, a season, or a sense of place that sparks the idea. We draw from these narratives to develop color, texture, and materials — creating hand-dyed yarns, fibers, threads, and kits designed to invite exploration, creativity, and personal interpretation. I’m Melissa, the founder and creative director of Storyteller Stitchery. As a lifelong maker and reader, I believe stories and craft belong together. I design each collection with care in our Arizona studio, guided by a love of literature, nature, and hands-on making. The goal is simple: to bring color, intention, and delight to your creative practice.
